WHO WE ARE
We are an Australian-based IT service provider started in 2016.
With offices all across Australia, Starboard IT started as a conversation on how we could offer better, more personalised IT services. Starboard IT was founded by a team of IT professionals who realised that businesses deserved a quality IT experience without having to break the bank. Each have over 15 years’ experience in the implementation, support and security of IT network and server infrastructure, virtualisation and cloud technologies. We have worked in a multitude of areas on the business spectrum, so we understand the importance of providing outcome-focused services and solutions that work for your business.
Running a business ourselves we recognise the importance of combining the work-hard mindset and delivering outcomes with the human touch, often not available with larger companies with bigger budgets.

Carys Grinnell
Chief Commercial Officer
Carys brings over a decade of experience in marketing, strategy, and commercial leadership to her role as Chief Commercial Officer at Starboard IT. She leads growth initiatives, drives client relationships, and oversees national operations, drawing on expertise from both the private and public sectors. Carys is dedicated to driving Starboard IT’s mission to deliver exceptional client outcomes, foster strong partnerships, and create meaningful impact across the business and technology landscape.
Tim Wilson
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Tim Wilson has an obsession with technology as well as developing fit-for-purpose solutions. Tim has demonstrated this fascination over 15+ years’ with extensive experience in strategy, design, implementation and operations, having supported companies of all sizes from start-ups through to global enterprise organisations while also covering a broad range of industry verticals. He takes pride in partnering with clients to understand their goals and deliver solutions that make a lasting difference to their business success.
